Our favorite son keeps outdoing himself! Ideal de Roy (see November 28th entry) , at the Brussels CSI show this weekend, placed 3rd in the 1m50 class, which counts for the show jumping international Ranking List of horses and riders. BRAVO, as the French say!!!

And he makes us proud, YET AGAIN!!! Please meet one of our flagship horses: Ideal de Roy. A gelding by Quidam de Revel and Venue de la Lande out of Grand Veneur, he was our very firstborn “De Roy” horse! Which means he is VERY special to us. And he has rewarded his owner, Michel Deroy, with

Here’s the “baby” (he stands over 18 hands!!!) that we bought at the Fences September 2008 auction. His genetic background is very interesting, as he carries both the blood of the great Kannan (his sire) and the superstar international stud Quidam de Revel. Regan has just finished a 6-week period
